Yongmei Wang
Yongmei Wang was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong from January 2001 to August 2003. She is currently a faculty member at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Departments of Statistics, Psychology, and Bioengineering. Her research interests include structural and functional neuroimage analysis and measurement, statistical inference and geometrical modeling for biomedical imaging and computation.
   


Xinbo Gao
Xinbo Gao received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in signal and information processing from Xidian University, Xi'an, China, in 1994, 1997, and 1999, respectively. Since 1999, he has been with the School of Electronic Engineering, Xidian University, China, where he is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Electronic Engineering. From 2000 to 2001, he was with the Department of Information Engineering, the Chinese University, Hong Kong as a Research Associate. His research interests include content-based video analysis and representation, image understanding, pattern recognition, and artificial intelligence.
     

Xuelong Li

Dr. Li currently holds a lecturer position in the United Kingdom. From Mar.2001 to Sept. 2001, he was with the Multimedia Lab of Dept. IE, CUHK, as a Research Associate.

Bo Luo has received admission and financial aid to pursue his Ph.D. studies in School of Information Science and Technology at the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA. From Aug. 2001 to July 2003, he was an M.Phil. Candidate with the Multimedia Lab. He graduated with his Master of Philosophy in Information Engineering Degree in 2003. The thesis was titled "Video Caption Detection and Extraction Using Temporal Information". He was also the first builder and administrator of this website.

Xiaogang Wang has received admission to pursue his Ph.D. studies in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge. He will join the vision group there in Sept. 2004. He received the B.S. degree in 2001 from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, and the M.Phil. degree in 2003 from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. From Aug. 2001 to Aug. 2003, he was an M.Phil. Candidate with the Multimedia Lab. From Sep. 2003 to Aug. 2004, he was with the Multimedia Lab of Dept. IE, CUHK, as a Research Assistant. His research interests include face recognition, image processing, and pattern recognition.

His research interests include computer vision, pattern recognition, and multimodal biometrics.

From 2004 to 2006, Shuicheng Yan was a Postdoctoral fellow in the Multimedia Lab and the leader of the Face Recognition Project sponsored by ITC/ITF. Before joining the lab, Dr. Yan worked in the Microsoft Research, Asia. He is currently a Postdoctoral fellow in University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. His research interests include Subspace Learning, Manifold Learning, 2D/3D Face Modeling and Alignment, Incremental Supervised Learning, Image Retrieval.

From 2004 to 2006, Peng Du was an Research Assistant in the Multimedia Lab. He worked in Microsoft Research Asia before joining the Multimeia Lab. In 2006, he went to University of California, San Diego to pursue a Ph.D. degree. His research interests include algorithms, face recognition and computer graphics.

From 2006 to 2007, Baochang Zhang was an Postdoctoral Fellow in the Multimedia Lab. After that he went to Australia. His research interests include Gabor wavelet,face recognition, machine learning, image processing, and pattern recognition.

Currently, he is a Research Fellow in School of Computer Engineering, Nanyang Technological University. His research interests include fingerprint recognition, plankton recognition, image processing, and pattern recognition.
