293 posters. The oral acceptance rate is 4.8% and the overall acceptance rate is 28.2%.
- IJCAI 2007 We have 3 papers (2 oral papers and 1 poster) accepted to
the International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI '07, Hyderabad
India). For this year IJCAI, among about 1353 papers submission, 212 orals and 258
posters are accepted. So the oral acceptance rate is 15.7%, the overall acceptance rate
is 34.7%.
- Oversea Study Congratulations to Lin Dahua for admission to the Ph.D

- ECCV 2006 We have 9 papers (3 oral papers) accepted to European
Conference on Computer Vision (ECCV'06). For this year ECCV, among about 900 papers
submission, 40 orals and 153 posters are accepted. So the oral acceptance rate is 4.4%,
the overall acceptance rate is 21.4%.
- CVPR 2006 We have 11 papers (3 oral papers) accepted to IEEE Conference
on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR'06, New York). This year CVPR received
1131 paper submissions, of which 54 were selected for oral presentation, with 264
posters. The oral acceptance rate is 4.8% and the overall acceptance rate is 28.1%.
- Oversea Study Congratulations to Cao Liangliang for admission to the

Computer Vision (ICCV'05). For this year ICCV, among about 1200 papers submission, 45
orals and 199 posters are accepted. So the oral acceptance rate is 3.8%, the overall
acceptance rate is 20.3%.
- CVPR 2005 We have 9 papers accepted to IEEE International Conference on
Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR'05). For this year CVPR, among about 1160
papers submission, 74 orals and 250 posters are accepted. So the oral acceptance rate is
6.5%, the overall acceptance rate is 28%.
- ICIP 2005 We have 11 papers accepted to IEEE International Conference
on Image Processing (ICIP'05).
- Oversea Study Congratulations to LIU Hao for admission to Ph.D.
programs at MIT Media Lab and Stanford. He has chosen to go to the EECS department at
Stanford to pursue his second Ph.D. in Sept. 2005.
2004

- Marriage Announcement This past couple of years, our lab saw five of
our most handsome boys (LIN Feng, LUO Bo, SHA Lifeng, ZHAO Feng, and WANG Xiaogang) and
one most beautiful girl (SHEN Hua) married. Wishing them all happy ever after!
2003
- CVPR 2004 Our lab has 7 papers accepted to IEEE CVPR in 2004. Thanks

- Baby Announcement Tang Zhiming, Samuel, came to this world at 18:35pm,
on Sunday, March 9th, 2003. Everything included, the little boy weights 7.7 pounds. Mom
Qiumei and Dad Xiaoou are all happy ever after!
